Our Services
ABA Therapy
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the leading approach to improving the developmental deficiencies associated with autism.
Speech Therapy
Koala Academy Pediatric Therapies offers speech and language therapy for a broad scope of disorders. Our speech therapy may be in one-to-one and small group sessions. All speech services are based on an hour formal and informal assessment and close input from clients and parents. Data collection is taken in each 30 minute session and reviewed monthly with the client and/or parent.
Social Skills
Social skills training is an important part of the programming for any child or adult with disabilities. Good social skills help the client become fully integrated into their home, school, and community.
Music Therapy
Music therapy is an evidence-based allied health profession that uses the clinical applications of music to meet individualized non-musical goals. These goals could be physical, cognitive, emotional, or social.
Physical Therpay
Physical therapy (PT), also known as physiotherapy, is one of the healthcare professions. Physical therapy is provided by physical therapists who promote, maintain, or restore health through physical examination, diagnosis, prognosis, patient education, physical intervention, rehabilitation, disease prevention and health promotion.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy refers to therapy that aids in developing or regaining skills needed for the job of living referred to as "daily living skills."" A pediatric occupational therapist uses purposeful activities and play to maximize the independence of children.

Transitional Programs
Based upon your BCBA's recommendation, your child may be guided through our transitional program, which helps transition children from ABA to the school setting. We have mock classrooms and cafeteria settings that allow your child to experience what school will be like, empowering your child to make a successful transition into school.
Arts & Crafts
For our full time clients, Koala Academy integrates arts and crafts into their ABA program. With a dedicated art room, your child will have the opportunity to use their hands and minds to create and build. Our program allows a creative outlet for each of their unique ways of expression. .
Music Therapy
All of our full time ABA clients receive music therapy once a week during circle time with a licensed music therapist. We believe that music is another outlet for the children to communicate and it is a healthy approach to developing all of their senses by singing songs and playing instruments. It is so fun!
